so my 8:45 pm flight turned into a 9:45 pm flight... after a 30 minute delay and another 30 minutes spent waiting for more passengers who's flights were also delayed....
so finally venturing on to lubbock for an hour, our pilot discovers that we cannot land because there is too much fog. it is now practically 11 pm and he decides to fly back to dallas.
for the next hour i get to stand in a line at dallas love field trying to rebook a flight for the next day, while my dad drives an hour to come back and get me. hurray! so 12 hours later, at 9:50 AM, i finally arrive in lubbock. yayyyyyyy

i never want to wait in an airport again... or at least not for awhile

so here i am, returning to my livejournal practically 2 years later... because it is almost 2008! and i havent touched this thing since 2006! see... i can never stay on top of anything!

anyway, Angie and I just went to go see the movie Juno. it was super cute, and Nate is jealous that i did not go to see it with him. but i guess thats just what happens when you decide to go to houston instead of dallas! WHAT!?!?!?!?!

So i liked Juno alot, but it made me really happy that i never got pregnant. plus angie and i bought a bunch of candy at the mall.... and now im not very sleepy at all. I also bought the first season of Flight of the Conchords, because it is quite an amazing show. I think i might start watching it in a bit. I made Angie watch the episode with the leather suits and their "grande tour" at a central park in Newark. hehehehehehehehehehe.



so i am returning to lubbock tomorrow. i am not too excited about that because that only means i have to go back to stupid work. but i guess i kind of need the money....

man. supposedly i need to take this stupid computer EDIT class that i really dont want to take. apparently i can get my boss to write the school a letter about the kind of computer skills i use at work to comp out of the class... but i dont think i really use a computer at work unless my boss wants to lie about it for me. LAME. computer classes are so BORING!!!!! why cant i take like a graphics design class? i mean, i have been using a computer since i was old enough to write... shouldnt that be enough for you freaking people??? anyway.... i do not have too much to say. a lot has happened since i last used my livejournal, but i dont really feel like talking about it.

hokay! crazy last couple of weeks!
so today i woke up and Lu Anne from work was here. Heather, my room mate, is going to start selling Mary Kay, and they kinda got me into it too... so, now I am going to be a make up selling whore. but i figured, i have never cared about anything my whole life. i've always waited for someone to just tell me what to do or i've settled for what i have because i like to be comfortable. SO, i thought, if i start selling Mary Kay, even tho it seems pretty silly, maybe i will actually be good at it and actually care about making something out of myself... as far as making money and actually trying to acheive a goal.
anyway, after that, i went running at maxey park, which rocks, and its right by our house! YAY! then i showered and Alicia and i went to hobby lobby, where we bought some yarn, and the book Stich n Bitch (which Erin also has). Then Alicia made me some macaroni and cheese and gave me a beginner's lesson on how to knit! and one day, i will be able to show up my own grandma! HOLLA!
I am about to go into work, and then in the morning Julie and I are going to see The DaVinci Code. whoot! I am really going to miss that girl when she moves! we also called Nick last night, but he has become an old man because he needed to go to sleep so he could wake up for his real job... GROSS! well, anyway, nothing else too exciting to report, so i guess i wont.
my fish really likes to sit by the filter, he is so strange, but he is still a rockstar!

so i am coming up with speculations to my current state of mind

i think since im having so much trouble concentrating and thinking and trying to actually feel something that im retaliating to how i used to be as a kid.... i mean with the "sleepovers" and such... its probably getting out of hand, but i feel like i cant even sleep unless someone is with me now, and to make matters worse, the other night i even wanted to crawl into bed with my mom and dad (of course they are living 5 hours away)

the whole idea started when i mentioned to angie that we should take a bubble bath in our bathing suits, kind of like how you used to as a kid. of course now everything that im saying is probably making me sound like a huge lesbian.... but whats next? am i going to start asking my friends to come over to play barbie or what?

not that anyone reads this (which is probably for the best)

so, the last couple of nights i have stayed up really late and had someone to sleep with me... so now i'm like, sleepovers are FUN!!! who wants to go home to an empty bed when i can have someone stay in it with me?

so far my sleeping buddies are Heather, Aryn, and Julie! YAY! too bad Julie is leaving me, and I will be one sleeping partner down.

ok sleeping partner... that sounds a little gay, but OH WELL!

who knows what tonite will bring! of course i have to work early in the morning, booooo

and i also cant forget to work on my homework! BLAH

oh yes, also a boy quit at work today, so guess who got to stay late and then is coming in on her day off? thats right, you guessed it, the one and only. but i am a soldya!

tonite is anna's fashion show! how fun!!!! yay!!! of course i have to work thru half of it, BOOOOOOOO

guess what kids! its 2:30 in the morning and jessica is up doing homework so that heather can stay awake!!!! YAY!!!! we just got off work and now we are having a big PARTY!!!!! except now sean is making fun of me for typing so much. GUAH!!!!! im probably gonna kick his ass if he ends up falling asleep.... which i bet he will, hahahahahaha!

so today, i didnt do much, i rested cuz my voice was still gone, then i went to work and got some chili's for heather and i. YUM!!!! i also ran into my friend megan and we decided that chili's must be where it's at on wednesday!

so today wasnt HORRIBLE.. my voice sounds like shit tho, and people keep calling me and i want to talk but i don't think that anyone can understand a word that i am saying! hopefully my voice will return to normal soon...

i am about to watch THE TRANSPORTER. i have never seen it before, but it is directed by Luc Beson, who ROCKS so im going to check it out since its on TV.

Sean just called me and informed me that I made him sick as well. I dont really know about that, but he can believe whatever he wants. He is going to eat a borrito which i hope he thoroughly enjoys.

my butt hurts. most likely because i have been sitting on it all afternoon because i didnt feel good. i probably should have worked out today but i will tomorrow, YAY!!!! I usually like to run for about an hour... and get in a good 6 miles... holla!

everyone has been telling me what i need to do to get better.. but i dont really care. everyone has told me i need to take care of myself, but im really too lazy for that. the only way im going to get taken care of is if someone else does it for me!

i went to walgreens after school today, because it was on the way home. i got my mom, matt and angie all cards. hopefully i will get around to sending them! my mom's is for mother's day tho, and i will probably give it to her when she comes up to visit me for mother's day. matt's is about being a ninja and im going to say i am strong like chuck norris. oops, i hope you dont read this matt! angie's is about how hott we are, and if angie reads this, that is fine because she loves to get shit in the mail from me no matter what it is. oh that reminds me, i will mail her her VALENTINES PRESENT that i never mailed while i am at it!

andrea called me to hang out and i felt bad because i havent seen her in forever, but i really didnt feel like doing anything,. BLAH. i did want to go shopping tho, so i can pick out a DRESS for my BIRTHDAY DINNER!!!!! hopefully we can go sometime this weekend!

i saw this weird chinese lady peeing in the bathroom at school today... yeah she kinda didnt shut the door, i was kind of grossed out. and then i saw her again in the student union chasing around her little son. AWKWARD!

i really need to do some laundry and start packing my stuff up for when i move in two weeks, but.. who has time for that? I mean come on now....

guess im going to go watch this movie. i dont really know what is going on. my eyes kind of hurt. i hope this doesnt mean that i am getting pink eye in addition to laryngitis (which is what my mom says that i have)
